Miami’s Exquisito Chocolates Wins at Good Food Awards

Exquisito Chocolates, a Miami-based chocolatier that self-produces all its chocolates in-house and imports cacao beans from Latin America and the Caribbean, won the top prize in the snack category at this year’s Good Food Awards for its 73 percent agrofloresta brownie.


The awards feature 16 categories and are judged on a blind taste test, with finalists scored on environmental and social responsibility.

The brownie, which is available as part of a four-morsel flight in Little Havana, is called “very rich and fudgy” by founder Carolina Quijano. Exquisito Chocolates produces single-origin cacao ice cream, bars, bonbons and truffles, and is focusing on improving the quality of its products
