With the inauguration of Mayfair Grill and Sipsip Rooftop, both located inside the recently opened Mayfair House Hotel & Garden, the team behind Lost Boy Co., Tropezon, and Fox’s Lounge is expanding their presence on Miami’s culinary scene.
On the first level is the hotel’s signature Mayfair Grill restaurant and atrium bar, where chef Sean Bernal prepares wood-fired fare with tastes drawn from the American Southwest.
Aguachile, braised lamb shank, wood-oven cheese, fire-roasted squash, and Navajo breads are just a few of the many delicacies on the extensive menu.
The restaurant’s Fountain Bar, which is close by, is situated in one of the hotel’s original elevator shafts and specializes in wines and liquors from Guadalajara and Oaxaca, including mezcal, tequila, sotol, and raicilla.
Conch ceviche, fried oyster sliders, smoked fish dip, and lobster rolls are just a few of the dishes available on Sipsip’s cuisine menu, which is a reimagining of the fried fish eateries ubiquitous throughout South Florida.
Mayfair Grill and Sipsip are now open daily inside the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden at 3000 Florida Avenue in Coconut Grove. For more information call 305-441-0000.
