This family-owned business, Helena Chocolatier, began in 1975 in the city of Ica, Peru. Elena Soler discovered a way to spoil her friends and family with delicious tejas (a traditional sweet) made by hand with her husband’s help and their seven children.
Demand for the sweets quickly grew, and Helena Chocolatier decided to take a leap into the American market. Today, Helena Chocolatier produces tejas, chocotejas, and chocolate bonbons all over Peru and in the United States.
