Florida Farm Direct started when one single woman decided to take responsibility for her community. Alla Kartel immigrated from the Ukraine with her son in hand in 1999. Alla started working with a local Florida co-op and enjoyed serving her neighbors. When the company fell on hard times, Alla became more determined than ever to serve her community.
She streamlined every aspect of business operation to create more personal relationships with farmers, cutting out middle-men and unnecessary costs. She has assembled a strong network of growers who share the same dedication to making real, living foods available in our modern, fast-paced lives. Alla believes that affordable organic produce is essential, so Florida Farm Direct was born.
