What Now reported earlier this week that New York City’s eclectic plant-forward concept Innocent Yesterday will open its first South Florida location in Miami’s Wynwood Art District. Behind the concept is hospitality group Coming Soon Food Group, and Innocent Yesterday not the only Coming Soon restaurant coming soon to Miami. Zazzy’s Pizza, another of the group’s restaurant brands, which currently has three locations in New York City, will soon make its own South Florida debut, also in Wynwood.
Like Innocent Yesterday, Zazzy’s offers both plant-based and non-plant-based options. Classic pizzas like the New York Cheese Pie and the Pepperoni Pie sit alongside favorites like the White Pie (Fresh mozzarella, fior di latte, ricotta, pecorino romano, fresh oregano EVOO) and the Vodka Pie (Homemade Vodka Sauce, fresh mozzarella, dressed with parmesan, fresh oregano and EVOO). Sicilian square pies are also available in cheese and pepperoni varieties.
For the plant-based diner, Zazzy’s offers a Vegan Cheese Pie and a Gluten-Free Vegan Cheese Pie, along with Meatless Meatballs made with Zazzy’s special meatless blend, house-made tomato sauce, vegan parmesan, and fresh basil.
For dessert: Nutella Sweet Pie and Nutella Panzerotti.
