New Brickell Omakase Restaurant, Sushi by Bou

Jacqueline recently had the opportunity to enjoy a perfectly paired sake and sushi experience by Chef Moon at new Miami Omakase restaurant, Sushi by Bou…

Brickell’s newest Omakase restaurant is sure to be a popular date night destination in Miami. Sushi by Bou, created by NYC-based SimpleVenue hospitality group, opened its second South Florida location at the SLS Brickell luxury hotel and residences on December 1st.

Omakase means, “I’ll leave it up to you,” and that’s exactly what you’ll do as skilled and entertaining chefs prepare a 12 or 17-course sushi experience while you enjoy a glass of wine, sake, Japanese beer, or craft cocktail. The best part about this special omakase experience is that it won’t break the bank at $60/pp for the 12-course, or $125/pp for the upgraded experience (not including drinks).

Sake and Sushi at New Miami Omakase Restaurant

Sushi by Bou features a small wine list (hey, Miraval & Gerard Bertrand!) and several sake options. But let’s face it, you should probably choose the sake to pair with your sushi. Bottles range from Kikusui Nigori “Perfect Snow” at $35 to Katsuyama Den Junmai Daigingo at $256 a bottle or $38 a glass. Other sake options include the Kubota Ginjo “1000 Celebrations” at $14/glass or $84 for the bottle, or Tensei “Song of the Sea” Junmai Gingo at $15/glass or $95/bottle.
