Kush Hialeah

Home of Bubbe’s Matzo Ball Soup and other Jewish delicacies

Matt “Kush” Kuscher of Kush Hospitality Group re-opened Stephen’s Delicatessen on June 19, 2019. Key elements remain consistent at Stephen’s: both the hand-sliced smoked meats and the person who’s been slicing them for over 60 years.

Junior’s Station, a carving station where guests will see Junior hand-slicing pastrami and corned beef to order. Bubbie’s Matzoh Ball Soup, or what is popularly known as “Jewish penicillin”, traditionally gifted to a loved one.

Kush pays homage to his own childhood memories of matzoh ball soup by including family photos on the walls of Stephen’s Deli. The menu is designed to be an exact duplicate of the menu at The Plantation Nook which burned down years ago in Plantation, Broward County.
