The Captain’s Tavern is a seafood restaurant in South Miami that was opened on April 1, 1971 by Bill Bowers, also known as “The Captain.” The restaurant has a simple formula of providing diners with fresh seafood at great prices by leveraging its vast network of seafood suppliers.
Almost all of the fish served at the restaurant comes in whole and is filleted on the premises. In addition, virtually everything at Captain’s Tavern is house-made, from the salad dressings to the desserts.
